Slow-Cooked Happiness, Kama-meshi lunch

I enjoyed a delicious kama-meshi lunch (rice cooked in a traditional iron pot) in Asakusa, Tokyo.

The flavors were absolutely delicious, and the cozy, traditional atmosphere made the experience even better.

Since kama-meshi is cooked fresh and takes a little time, it’s the perfect excuse to sit back, relax, and sip on some Japanese sake while you wait.
